Postmortem

Space Escape was the first official game I released as a game designer, and I have mixed feelings about it. I always thought the first game I released would be much bigger and more complex. While Space Escape might not be the labor of love I always hoped to release it does feel nice seeing a game I made available on a platform for people to play. Working on Space Escape also taught me that I might have a clear idea of a game I want to make, but as I work on it, it will go through changes and variations and most likely end up completely different. Overall While this game might not be the dream project I wanted to release I still found satisfaction in the fact that it is available for people to play, and if I'm going to work in the industry, I have to learn how to find the motivation and passion to work on a game even if I don't like the genre or have a different vision for it.
